Parent Involvement

Becoming involved as a parent volunteer is a great way to show support for the students and faculty and to become more involved in the community life of Christian Brothers High School.  To mirror the student House System  many of the parent volunteer events and activities  are coordinated through Houses. The House System provides an excellent opportunity for parents to become acclimated faster and engage more fully, and when a House of parents takes ownership of an event year after year it provides continuity for the event and gives parents a shared purpose within their House.

Our core parent volunteers, or Parent Ambassadors, are also grouped by House. Parent Ambassadors help plan any number of social, service, and school events for the parents in their respective Houses, and they also organize the main Parents “House event”.  Parent Ambassadors may also help  coordinate other activities such as House tailgates, House welcome parties, House Bible studies, or House service projects, just to name a few.

It is our hope that by participating together in House activities parents will be able to engage more quickly, form life-long friendships, and more fully enjoy their years at CBHS and beyond. Whether you volunteer to help out at a House event or whether you become a Parent Ambassador, your contribution is greatly appreciated!

Please check the Parent webpages frequently for updates and more information about your House events or contact  your 2015-16 Parent Board Chairs, Jared and Stacy Montegut at

Thank you for all you do for CBHS! You are great parents!!
