2014 Alumni Golf Tournament

37th Year for Alumni Tournament
Saturday, August 2nd was a great day for golf and fellowship at the CBHS Alumni Golf Tournament. Fifty-six teams joined the field with players representing alumni classes from 1952 to 2014. The tournament, hosted by Christian Brothers to provide an opportunity for all alumni to gather and reunite with other Brothers' boys, is in its 37th year. This year's tournament was chaired by Jay Fik '97.

In addition to providing fellowship and fun for the alumni, this year's tournament raised approximately $3,000 for the CBHS Tuition Assistance Fund. To support the Tuition Assistance Fund at a higher level, and have a great time on the course too, please join us for the spring Brothers' Open Golf Tournament at TPC Southwind. More information about the Brothers Open and sponsorship opportunities will be available soon.

Class of '64 becomes 1st Class in New STEMM Building

    Brothers For Life!

What a great weekend for the Class of '64 as they celebrated their 50-year reunion! Traveling from near and far they reunited to share special memories and renew the bonds of Brothers' Boys. The weekend began with a social in the CBHS Pender Library on Friday evening which included a school tour where the Class of '64, who was originally intended to be the first class in the "new school" on Walnut Grove Road, became the first class in the new CBHS Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, & Medicine (STEMM) building.

The fun continued as the classmates enjoyed a round of golf on Saturday morning following by special recognition at the afternoon Mass celebrated at St. Louis Church. The reunion culminated with a wonderful dinner and music provided by Dickey Lee and Buzz Cason Saturday evening at the Hunt & Polo Club.
