WAVE CLUB- Athletics

Christian Brothers High School has always prided itself on its athletic programs. Student-athletes at CBHS enjoy a rich tradition of fan support and excellence in the classroom and on the playing field. CBHS coaches have done an amazing job over the years to develop boys into not only competitive athletes but, more importantly, men of character, integrity and discipline. In the past, because each team was supported by its own booster club, our coaches often found themselves adding “financial planner” and “fundraiser” to their coaching title. For many years, this meant that these teachers had to take away from coaching to develop, communicate and administer fundraising programs. It meant that we turned to our athletes and their families and other supporters, time and time again, to purchase items through fundraisers. Yet not a single purchase from these fundraisers was 100% tax-deductible.

Here's how the Wave Club works:

To build community and financial support for all athletic teams, CBHS has created the Wave Club, in which membership is gained by a minimum donation of $500 to the sport of your choosing or to athletics in general.

Your donation secures your membership to the CBHS Wave Club for the duration of the fiscal year.
A member at the $500-$999 level receives:

- a 10% discount on all Wave Shop purchases

- subscription to the quarterly Wave Club online newsletter

- two season tickets to the sport of your choosing, excluding TSSAA Playoff events

A member at the $1000+ level receives:

-a 10% discount on all Wave Shop Purchases

- subscription to the quarterly Wave Club online newsletter

- two CBHS Wave Club VIP Cards which admit you to all CBHS Home Sporting Events during the 2015-16 school year, excluding TSSAA Playoff events as well as two tickets to all CBHS Arts productions

Wave Club members will also have access to special experiential opportunities throughout the year with our administrators, coaches, and student-athletes, who would not be able to provide the “Brothers’ Experience” without your support.  Information on Wave Club events and special engagement opportunities will be provided during the 2015-16 Academic year.

The Wave Club will be administered through the CBHS Principal’s Office, CBHS Athletics Department and Development Office, led by our Director of Athletics and coordinated with a small leadership group of committee members. By joining the CBHS Wave Club, your Annual Fund gift is directed to provide ALL sports the funding needed to support our students engaged in activities and athletics. CBHS is a registered 501(c)3 organization.  Consult with your tax adviser to determine what portion of your CBHS Wave Club gift is tax-deductible.
