Open University on iTunes U provides access to courses from several major universities, as well as a wide array of audio and visual resources.

Purdue OWL (Purdue University Online Writing Lab) is an excellent resource for research and writing tips, and APA & MLA style guides.

TEL (Tennessee Electronic Library) gives TN residents and students access to the Learning Express Library (ACT & SAT practice tests), PowerSpeak (foreign language resources) and World Book Encyclopedia. Before taking practice tests, you will have to create a username & password to keep track of your scores, and disable popup blockers so that tests may be scored.

Varsity Tutors offers free practice tests and allows you to create your own learning tools, such as quizzes & flashcards.

The World Factbook is compiled annually by the CIA and provides in-depth information concerning history, government, geography, communications, military, and other important data for 267 world entities.
